Thousand Therapist Project Scholarship Application

Certificate in Sex Therapy, 2027 Cohort

Thank you for your interest in the Thousand Therapist Project Scholarship. Through the generosity of an anonymous donor, the School of Sex Therapy is offering 100 full-tuition scholarships for the Certificate in Sex Therapy, a rigorous, systematic, thirty-two week program that fulfills the education requirement for certification by the International Association of Psychosexual Therapists. The scholarship is intended for clinicians in underserved communities and in countries where access to sex therapy training is limited.

The cohort meets live online every Tuesday from noon to 3 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time, from January 5 to August 24, 2027. Sessions are not recorded, and attendance is required.

Applications close on Friday, December 11. All applicants will be notified of a decision by Friday, December 18. The application takes about 20 minutes to complete. If you are not awarded a scholarship, you are welcome to enroll in the program at the discounted tuition of $2,500.

Before you begin, please have a letter of recommendation from a professional colleague ready to upload. Please also note that every student is required to purchase the textbook Becoming a Sex Therapist: Everything You Need to Know and to join the International Association of Psychosexual Therapists as a Student Member for the duration of the program.
