Biography
LaTanya E. Jones, MSM, NIC, MSW, MEd, LMSW, C-PST is a licensed social worker, Certified Psychosexual Therapist, and PhD candidate in Human Sexuality at Widener University. With graduate degrees in Social Work, Education in Human Sexuality, and Science in Management, LaTanya brings a multidisciplinary lens to her clinical and scholarly work.
LaTanya specializes in psychosexual therapy, human sexuality research, and trauma-informed care, with a deep commitment to serving the LGBTQIA+, Deaf, and Hard of Hearing communities. As a Nationally Certified American Sign Language interpreter, she ensures historically underserved populations have equitable access to affirming, high-quality care.
A published author, grant writer, and international presenter, LaTanya's work spans clinical practice, academia, and advocacy. She serves as Provost of the School of Sex Therapy and Executive Officer of the International Association of Psychosexual Therapists (IAPST), where she is dedicated to advancing psychosexual therapy globally.
