Chris Wilhoite
Biography
Chris Wilhoite founded Littleton Couples Counseling in 2015. Couples are made of individuals, and individuals have different needs. Chris is an extensively-trained couples counselor, Certified Psychosexual Therapist with the International Association of Psychosexual Therapists, and is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor in training. She is the IAPST Ethics Committee chair. Chris has presented research at the IAPST International Symposium on Sex Therapy in 2024, 2025, and 2026.
Chris received her Master's of Science in Psychology from California Southern University. She holds a certificate in chemical dependency and compulsive behaviors and is EMDR, EFT, and Gottman trained for couples counseling. Chris is trained in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and understands the role of psychedelics in trauma treatment.
She completed two years of post-graduate training at Denver Family Institute and received her MFT. Chris integrates multiple models of therapy to fit her clients' individual needs.
