WKSP103-H Introduction to Working with Minor Attracted Persons This course in an introduction to working with minor attracted persons and includes an overview of common issues, misconceptions, and interventions when working with MAPs. Additionally, neurological processes and ethical considerations will be discussed. For a list of learning objectives and AASECT categories, please see the course syllabus. This is a hybrid course that requires Pre- and Post- Course activities and synchronous class attendance. Delivery: This course requires pre- and post- course reading. The live portion of this course will be held Monday July 31, 2023 (10am-1pm CDT | 11am-2pm EST). Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive 5 CEs * **The School of Sex Therapy is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The School of Sex Therapy maintains responsibility for this program and its content. This program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 5 CE credits. These CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification.
